This is one of the oldest first-class courses in Europe.

The course designed by Jorge Santana da Silva as an extension of a sustainable natural environment and enhanced landscape winds its way between old river beds and ancient trees. The greens and fairways have been designed to blend into the environment without disturbing it in any way. Completely renovated in 2014 by Beau Welling and the Ryder Cup winner Paul McGinley, this complex includes 3 championship courses on the Atlantic coast. The natural surroundings are typical of the Mediterranean, with stone pines, olive trees, eucalyptus and other fragrant plants.
Sand and undulating terrain make this course require precision and a strategic approach, but it is suitable for players of all levels.

Part of the extensive Quinta do Lago complex, this course is used for prestigious tournaments such as the Portuguese Open, part of the European Tour.
It’s one of the most famous courses in the Algarve, with a notorious 15th hole. To succeed on this par 3, you’ll need to drive over 200 yards to clear the lake and make an accurate putt on the pine-fringed green.

The level of difficulty is higher here than on the Ocean course, thanks to longer holes, numerous water hazards and more undulating terrain.

Victoria Golf Course
This course, designed by Arnold Palmer in 2004, is among the finest in the Algarve.
It covers 90 hectares of flat terrain with olive and almond trees that are typical of the region. The spectacular 17th hole is lined by a series of 12 waterfalls.
